Polarity-Master the Forces Game
First to recommend
Description
A series of magnets are distributed as game pieces are laid on the board as foundation discs. Next, game play continues as the magnets land and "float" on the magnetic fields. Force your opponent to disrupt the magnetic traps you have set - setting off dynamic chain reactions as pieces flip and collide - allowing you to score points to win the game.

Khet / Deflexion Laser Game
5 people recommended this item
Description
Combine classic strategy with the physics of lasers and optics to master this game of skill.
Egyptian themed pieces with one, two, or no mirrored surfaces move about the game board in any number of directions, including rotation by 1/4 twists. Each turn ends by firing a laser beam built into the board which bounces from mirror to mirror on a series of pieces.
When the beam finally lands on a non-mirrored surface, that piece is removed from play. In maneuvering each piece, the aim is to illuminate your opponent's pharaoh and eliminate them from the game, while shielding your own pharaoh from harm.
Designed for two players ages nine and up, the game comes with required batteries.

Pentago: A Game for Smarties

Description
I would probably not enjoy playing this game. Following the simplicity of design Sweden is known for, Pentago has clean lines and simple game play. In fact, it has just two play steps. First, put down a marble. Second, rotate a quadrant. Get five marbles in a row and you win. That's it. Game play may be simple, but winning can be as hard as a Viking's axe. Because you can rotate quadrants, your mind has to plan out moves in so many different directions.

YINSH: A Board Game
2 people recommended this item
Description
Great 2 player game and is in the same series as Dvonn. Imagine Connect Four turned into connect five ... and then add the ability for both players to reverse the colors by straight-line jumping with ring pieces.... and good ring placement can block the other player.... and you have to get 3 lines of five(not all at the same time).... but each time you get a line of 5, you lose a precious ring....
Good visual strategy game unlike anything you are probably used to.

The Touch Game
First to recommend
Description
This looks to be a pretty cool game and a variation on the old Halloween game where you would put your hand in a jar of cooked spaghetti and be told it was worms or feel some fur and be told it was a dead rat. There's a more adult version but never mind. In this version of The Touch Game, players race against the clock to find concealed pieces as fascinated opponents look on. Collect interesting play pieces and theme cards for points. Enjoy fast paced amusement and easy scoring.

SiegeStones
First to recommend
Description
Players take turns placing pieces (either stones or towers) on the board. Stones threaten towers, controlling them. Towers weaken stones. The more towers next to it, the less effective the stone. One well placed tower may free two others. One carefully positioned stone could win the game. There are 9 towers to vie for. You only need to control 4 to win, and you have 20 stones to do it with.

Can You Master The Dribble?
First to recommend
Description
I thought I had but now that I'm getting older...oh we're not talking about the same dribble? Okay then. Patience and dexterity are certainly needed to conquer this unique challenging game. The further you get the ball from one end of the twisting pegs to the other, without the ball falling through, the higher your score. Use the larger glass ball, or increase the difficulty by using the smaller metal ball. Made of wood and brass.

Gravity is your opponent in the game of Yali. When the metal balls are in their starting positions, the board will balance evenly. From then on, it's up to you to make the moves that will keep it from tipping, and to get your metal balls across the board before the other player does. Measures 7" x 16" x 2" high.
