So, so many shoes from which to choose. Yet, at the end of a hard, pavement-pounding week, nothing feels better than slipping into a great pair of sneaks. And, as 2008 is the 100th anniversary of Converse, I thought I would make a list of some outstanding sneakers as a sort of homage. Here's to you, Converse.

Not only are you recycling by contributing your older or least favorite pairs of shoes to this organization, you are also helping an adult or child or might otherwise go barefoot. As we are about to change seasons and (possibly) engage in a bit of spring cleaning, this is a good time to set a aside shoes you have no intention of wearing again.
