Fantasy playroom - a list by VintageReader

About this list:

In my head, there is a perfect playroom. It has lots of light and all the neat, creative toys, books, and activities any kid could want. There's a reading nook, of course. In reality, my child has... a bedroom with a hand-me-down crib and a couple of IKEA cabinets. But hey, a mom can dream.

1949 Ford Woody

Description

Diecast replica of a 1949 Ford woody. Not so much a toy, although it would probably be okay for older kids. I really just want it for my office.

Your kid's physical therapist will probably steer you away from these chairs, but come on: don't they look like fun?

Kids' Adjustable Activity Table

First to recommend

Description

Okay, so part of me wonders why it is that my kid should have a better office than I do... but mostly, I would be completely happy if someone would just pack up this entire room and ship it to me. This table is awesome--you can get adjustable legs for it, so it goes from toddler to teen. Assuming the top of it isn't completely trashed by the time the kid goes to college, you could even switch the legs back and turn it into a coffee table! It has bins and a paper roll. And it's purty!
