How romantic and relaxing are claw foot tubs?! I recently was able to enjoy one while spending a weekend at an old mansion-turned-hotel, and I've been considering getting one for my home ever since. In addition to how much charm the tub added to the bathroom, I felt more relaxed and refreshed than I ever feel after a hurried morning shower. I was surprised to find they are actually much more affordable than I thought they'd be, and I love the fresh white finish of this one, and the extra long length that will let me really stretch out. With Winter's fast approach, I'll be bringing the house plants back into the house very soon. I always let them enjoy the clean air and sunshine on the front porch in the summer, and they do appreciate it. My geranium flowered more this summer than she has in the past three years combined! But the Winter won't be as kind, and I've been looking to repot them with something a little jazzier than the plain pots they're in now. I think these thimble pots are just what I've been looking for - they're super cute and unique, but also have a simplicity to them that will help them blend well with the decor in every room. This one is going straight to the top of my Christmas list! I have wanted an ice bucket for a million years now anyway (OK, like 2, but still), but now I can have one that's stainless steel *and* ridiculously adorable. I actually have two bookcases from this collection, and I didn't know there was a wine cabinet to match! I absolutely adore my bookcases, and with Winter coming, I'll be hitting the wineries very soon. You can get some really great prices on hotels and wines in the off-season, which means I'll be coming home with a fresh supply to keep me stocked through the Winter with really great wine.
