Description

I love playing around with digital images. This is a fantastic site for such a pursuit. Tons of special effects you can easily partake in to turn an ordinary photo into something extraordinary. I just Lego-ized some shots for the kids- big hit.

life takes... word bar

Description

This four sided word bar is a reminder that “life takes: dreaming, doing, giving...” “...listening, kindness, playing, others…” “...love, laughter, learning...” and “...courage, confidence, work, risk, focus”.

So true. But they forgot "martinis."

Recycled Record CD Case

Description

artyfakt is an Etsy seller with a great idea: turn album covers into boxes to store your LPs. While my Duran Duran records may show a bit of erosion in strategic places due to a few decades of giving them some Fiona lovin' (FYI most damage occurs in or around John Taylor, the bass player), they are still treasures to me. Now I have found a suitable home for them. Yahoo.

Summer-themed Wine & Martini Glasses and Accessories

Description

I can almost feel the warm breezes now.... wait. No I can't. It's still fricking cold here. Sigh.

Still, it will heat up soon enough and these are a great way to celebrate on your own patio or give as a hostess gift or birthday present. Themes include Flip-flops, Bikinis, Palm Trees and Sex on the Beach and come various forms like wine glasses, wine stoppers, serving trays and martini glasses. Love 'em.

Check out the other summery designs as well....

If you or your kids blog, use myspace, etc or if you just want a quick, free and easy way to add some fun to a digital image, check out this site. Upload a photo of yourself (or use one of a friend- print it up for a clever birthday card!) and with a few easy mouse clicks you can insert the face on your photo into a magazine cover, movie poster, etc.

Then just copy the html code onto your site or click to save the image to your hard drive for printing.
