Burt Reynolds drove a black 1977 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am in the movie, Smokey and the Bandit. The picture shown is actually a 1981 Firebird TransAm, but it's similar body styling. The 1982 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am with a newer style is better known as the KITT car, another film car classic.
