Every now and then I get the urge to leaving my daily responsibilities and family. Like a super-hero persona, I run around town in my tailor-made hobo gear...no expense spared. Relieving rich people of their hard earned coinage. However, I found after a hard day of standing-around shaking a can of coins, my liquid buddy was not lasting in the California heat. To the rescue comes the "SipSac", an accessory no hobo wanna-be can be without. Keep my tasty beverage cold without comprising my look in the process. Best part of all, very affordable on my persona budget at only $3. Thats about 10 hours of can shaking in a given day.Highly recommended for parties, sport games, and hobo dress-up.

For the last 10 years or so, I have been an apple guy. I mean even when I am working on development at ThisNext, all of my skills amplified by the power Mac pro that sits under my desk. So when came time to purchase a new computer, apple was the first stored I walked into. So why the change, I need some hardware that would support my 3D animation habits and my need to get another high-end mobile gaming machine.
The 171XL sports a nice SATA matrix raid configuration setup, not a true hardware raid, but gets the job done for non-techies. That means faster reads and writes to the hard drives for data, or setting up a mirror for backing up all that important data. Some other important features of this notebook is the gfx card powering the display of this beast. Currently the NVIDIA® GeForce® 8800M GTS sits under the hood and gives you the mobile power to run the most demanding games. (Crysis included) added on to this that there is a hdmi port on the side, playing gears on my 50+ HDTV has never been so fun. Add in the Intel® Core™2 Extreme Processor, 3 gigs of ram and the full-size keyboard, you are looking at a great desktop replacement.
Besides the games, switching my development style from a mac to windows again was not as bad as I thought. Most people may want to opt for xp on this machine, however Gateway currently do not offer configurable options. e.g. you get what you see on the site. With all of that said vista is great once tweak, which there are great articles all over the web for that.
To round out the great things about this machine are: chip set, hard drives,
gfx card, quiet and cool even under high loads, and even the latest version of vista...yes i said it so what. The other great thing about this machine is that if you dont want to spend the $3000, you have option with this machine. If you dont mind voiding your warranty, you can opt to buy a lower end fx and upgrade every piece I mention out side of the gfx card.
Some points to remember, this machine is heavy (10LBS) and battery is not going to last you 5 hours here. But to me this all small things compared to what you get. Don't let the name scare you, Gateways are better ever since Acer purchased them, make sure you take a look at them if you are in the market for a new computer.

Description
Although most of Chris Brown's songs are aimed at underage teenage girls, there are several songs that made me pick up this album. When I first heard this Album I was in Circuit City of all places picking up gadgets for my trip up north. The song "With you" was playing over the store speakers, conry but very catchy. Needless to say, I pulled a employee aside and asked him was the current song was play. What luck that I happen to find the guy who made the cd's that were played in the store, with that he pointed out the record.
Now this is where the real store begins, on my trip I decided to learn the lyrics to the song. From there it when to singing in the car to singing in the shower. Well late one night, after a heavy night of drinking, seem that I end up on stage singing this song to an unknown girl in the crowd.
All and all the album is not attach to me history and also enjoy listen for the RnB love songs women seem to love.

Description
As I was growing up, my mother was always collecting African-American art. Recently due to her illness, me and the rest of my family have been trying to get her to pursue her dreams of opening up a store to sell the art she loves so much. This is part of a the Keith Mallatt set, one of my mother's favorite artist. I have only seen about 10 of these figures in the house of my lifetime and broken about 50% of them. I decided this year to replace at least 3 of them to get her start on new store. Or really to just replace the ones that I broke as a child.

Description
Memorial weekend is about about the BBQs and having the best grill is always something that you can live without. This thing has 3 burners and about 500 or so inches of cooking space. My family is about about getting together and cooking as much food as possible, this year being now different. This is one item that everyone needs to have in there backyard. The Weber runs about $600, a little more pricer then the norm. But the finish, the cooking surface and extra spce is all worth it.

My father has been a working "joe" since he was 12, hence the man as only owned 2 suits in his life. Since my father is now at the ripe age of 56, its rare that the family sees him dressed up. So after seeing my mother force him to don a suit for church, we knew when he step out in this 1970 off white thing it was time for a upgrade. So this year we decide that we would purchase a nice Armani Suit for him. This one sport a 3-button coat, easy so that he will not forget to button, a color that is not to flashy and look that says I am worth a lot of money. But we all know different.

Description
David Brin is one of my favorite authors, so far I have read a total of 10 of his 20 + books. This book was by far one of my favorites, mostly because of the details and theme set in the book. Kiln people cetners around a detective who investigating disappearance of a character named Maharal. This all happens through a clay replica of himself with a limited life span, as he his killed in the beginning pages of the story. I wont ruin the rest of the book, but kiln people is a fun read.

We're a connected generation and we don't need to apologize for it. Just take a cursory glance around the airport and see how many people are sitting under payphones because the last thing you want is your iPod or laptop to die on airplane where they think starving me or bending me over and screwing me for a bag peanuts is going to make me a happier traveler. I'll call the air marshals myself if my iPod dies next to the senile grandma in the middle seat.

During the day at TN, the office can get pretty loud. With so many project and happenings around TN development I have to keep up with, a good pair of earphones to hecklers down. These earphones have been my bestfriend, helping to keep focus and working on the latest goodies set to grace the pages of ThisNext. A cool little feature is the small button of the side of the volume/bass boaster control. With a press it lower the volume of your music to levels that allow you to hear someone speaking to you. Would have been a bluetooth version, but sometimes you need a cord to keep you grounded.
