These speakers pump out crystal clear vocals and wall-thumping bass; kinda like Red Bull for iPods. (via Bose)

Alien Love Songs by Daniel Palmer

Description
For new music I'll give you three artists to buy...one is me (I mean I can't resit a plug opportunity), my first Album is called Alien Love Songs. I recorded it back in 2002 and J.Crew licensed the song THE PERFECT PLACE TO BE from that collection. I You can buy the album digital for a mere $5 on MySpace. I'll have new CD available for sale very soon. Then go over and buy any music from Don DiLego ( http://www.dondilego.com) and Bree Sharp (http://www.breesharp.com/breesharp.html). You can't go wrong with any album choice there!

Weber Q Gas Grill

Description
Everyone knows that music and food go hand and hand. Summer grilling on my roof deck is what I remember most about my life in NYC. I lived in Manhattan for about 9 years. I recommend you go gas because I think charcoal is illegal...if not, it's still more of a fire hazard. In terms of selection I'm all about a Weber...but then again, I'm a sucker for a brand name.

Margarator Margarita Maker - Green

Description
So now that you have tunes and food, you have to get yourself something to drink. Summer for me is margarita time. A roof deck margarita is just as good as drinking one with your feet buried in the sand. I'd go for the slushee machine myself because heck, who doesn't like a slushee...

If you're not on the roof deck and still want your music with you I'd highly recommend this Cool Fusion 40 Icy Tunes. You can attach your iPod to the cooler, put in it whatever you have to keep cool and then pull it along with you while singing. Cool eh?

Paul Smith Sunglasses

Description
Next you have to outfit yourself properly for the roof deck BBQ. That means sunglasses. If you don't loose things, take a chance on a pair of Paul Smith glasses. Otherwise, go cheap and go for quantity.

Description
To look sharp but casual I'm a fan of J.Crew...and not just because they were kind enough to feature my music on their Web site. Plenty to choose from but I'd recommend checking out the broken in summer chinos for a casual but hip look.

Thriller, by James Patterson

Description
After the party...Margarita slushy buzz perhaps subsiding, you may want to unwind with a good summer read. For that I'd recommend a short story collection called Thriller edited by James Patterson. And it's not because I wrote one of the stories in it...okay...it is because of that, but again, I'm plug prone. Call me shameless. But if you do buy it please shop at BN.com because I helped to build that Web site and I may be shameless, but at least I'm loyal.
