I discovered Holly Aiken's line of all-vinyl bags last month, when my three-year-old threw up in my handbag.

Yes. Vomited. In my handbag. At a restaurant. Ain't motherhood grand?

Looking for a bag that was both chic and durable wasn't a simple task. But this designer's wares are exactly that.

Made of tough webbing and vinyl inside and out, my new tote can be turned inside out and hosed down the next time my daughter decides to hurl in my purse.

Another plus is that Aiken's products are made entirely in the US, and by purchasing them you support a woman-owned small business.

I'm a sucker for J. Crew. Always have been. I was so excited when we got one in my hometown ... and then I got pregnant.

Now we live 134 miles (yes, I checked) from the nearest store. But take heart - the Internet saves the day again. Thanks, Al Gore!

This will skim my hips and hide my belly. And it is machine-washable. What more could a mom ask for? Well, a lot, actually. But this will do for now.

AnyWHO, these are super-cute and super comfy. Make the other moms green with envy and wear these red shoes to the playground. They'll hate you for running like a gazelle in your kitten heels.

These look and feel like they cost $140, not $14.

This is where you say I'm not too old. Geez, do I have to tell you how to do everything?

This is cute and cozy but not bulky. I like it a lot, with a pair of cords and a tank. Warm but not suffocating. Hip but not TOO hip for this baby's mama. And at $22 you can't beat the prices.
