Description
This movie is ranked seventh in Arthur C. Clarke's List of the best Science-Fiction films of all time, just above Stanley Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey, for which Clarke himself wrote the screenplay. The black and white 1951 film struck a chord with audiences of the time. The films dark look at humanity resonated with its' audience of the time and still does today.
