Description

I can't believe it has taken me this long to buy this little unit. With the thousands of movie titles that can be downloaded from Netflix already included in my monthly subscription, what am I waiting for? Or should I say, what WAS I waiting for? And it's only $100! That rocks, big time.

Tea Tree Skin Care Kit

Description

It took a little getting used to... the strong scent of Tea Tree Oil. Once you like it, you end up loving it. Regardless is you are microphobic or not, tea tree is a great natural product with so many medicinal benefits, it's hard to say no to.

Brilliance Powder

First to recommend

Description

I recently bought this powder and I LOVE it. I was fascinated by the gadgetry of the brush. Pump, pump and you get enough shimmer on the brush to apply gracefully without having a big shimmer dot in the middle of your face. It comes on very light, and indeed, shimmery.

UV Air Purifier

First to recommend

Description

It may seem a bit much to some... But I believe in this product quite a bit. It uses UV light in your heating/venting system to satinitize your air by destroying musty odors, pet dander, viruses, mold, bacteria, dust mites and other airborne pathogens. There's no need for harsh chemicals. Did you know all government buildings are required to have UV-C light installed in their ventilation systems? That should tell us something, huh?

It's pretty easy for your HVAC specialist to install. My HVAC system happens to sit in my basement next to a sump pump... This will come in handy this winter!

Sweeper with UV-C Sanitizing Technology

First to recommend

Description

It's called a sweeper because it's a light-weight vacuum that picks up larger particles from your floor. It beats having to sweep the stuff under the rug...

The UV-C is the key to this... Did you know chlorine will not kill dust mites? But a few seconds of UV-C exposure does! For $50, you can't go wrong with this! (via grenade fishing)

The Peace War

First to recommend

Description

I am a huge sci-fi flick enthusiast, but I never got into the books because they tend to be difficult to follow. Until I read this book. I now believe when I lose track of time, I've been trapped in a bobble! Read it... Then you'll get what I mean.

Great book by Vernor Vinge (and I heard it's not his best effort either!). Easy read (3 days on vacation). (via Grenade Fishing)

The grenade - the brain. Up to you to translate the graphic. I love it. I already own a version in brown, but really like this new green icon.

Sahalie Buff Bandanas

First to recommend

Description

I love these. They're not really bandanas but rather multi-purpose headbands, such as hair tie, neck warmer, etc. They can also be used as face masks for motorcycle riding or burning man. These Sahalie exclusive prints are great.

Fatboy Doggy Boy Bed

6 people recommended this item

Description

These are definitely East and West's (my two Giant Schnauzers) next beds. The price is very reasonable compared to other extra-large beds. These are very durable, so maybe they'll last more than 3 months?

Update - 6 months later

Well, I got these for the two monsters. I was impressed they lasted four months. That's one month longer than usual. They definitely were the best beds I've purchased, and I've purchased many. They're really easy to clean, which is important. And things, bad things, do not stick to them. That's really, really important.

FatBoy Beanbag Chair

30 people recommended this item

Description

I didn't get it at first. What's the big deal? A beanbag chair is a beanbag chair.

Wrong! These put my ordinary round ones to shame. Durable nylon fabric. Extra large. And you can really sit upright in it. (via gordon)
