Description
Old and overstock dishware—snapped up by the artist from thrift shops, garage sales, and reject piles—is first given a makeover, then reglazed and refired. Repurposing an object is one of the greenest things you can do—nothing new is created, just transformed.

I've tried both and I must say that they... well... get the job done :)

PURE Furniture Design by Ami Mckay Senna Loveseat
First to recommend
Description
This is the furniture equivalent of finding a Gisele Bündchen body with the inner beauty of Mother Theresa. Pure by Ami McKay is a dream collection of upholstery, beds and case goods to suit every design aesthetic. At a glance, the four-pronged line, aptly named Earth, Air, Fire, and Water, is all chic, modern silhouettes mixed with soft, sensual fabrics. But look below the surface and you'll find the beauty is more than skin deep. Every item is made to be as eco-friendly as they come for sustainability and healthy home indoor air quality. None of the pieces are treated with fire retardants, a highly toxic practice of US-based furniture manufacturers (Ami can do this because Pure is Canada-based) and a leading cause of poor indoor air quality.

Dino Curtain

Description
Dinosaurs!!!
Made from ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA), an alternate for polyvinyl chloride (PVC), a toxic, off-gassing material typically used for shower curtains. PVC is commonly coated with phthalates, toxic plastic softeners that have been linked to hormone disruption, cancer, and kidney and liver damage— no good for you or your children. PVC is also largely non-recyclable, and burning it further releases harmful substances such as dioxin into the atmosphere.

This would certainly fall under my category of "ballin"!
Stand out from the plastic/metal crowd with this warm and rich-looking bamboo computer monitor.
Made from bamboo (a rapidly renewable resource), which means just a little less plastic and metal for the landfills.

Large Double Layered Platter

Description
Aside from the fact that this platter costs $1,500...
It is completely recycled copper and salvaged traffic signs, fused together to create this unique design.
It's still cool. Why the hell it costs so freakin' much is beyond me, but if I had the money I'd get two of them.
