Olfa Heavy Duty Snap Off Retractable Knife

First to recommend

Description

Olfa's retractable utility knife is for more heavy duty cutting. I use it to cut down large sheets of foam core, cardboard, rope, etc. When the blade gets dull, you can simple snap off a section of it to expose a fresh blade edge. (via Utrecht)

Description

I've got at least 5 othese X-acto knives. Great for precision cutting of paper, foam core, matte board and etc. Using these knives requires 100% of your attention. They're scalpel sharp and will send you straight to the emergency room. (Tip: Remember to always cut away from your body) (via Utrecht)

3x Abstraction: New Methods of Drawing

First to recommend

Description

This is a spectacular book that covers the work of well known geometric abstractionists Agnes Martin and lesser known Hilma Af Klint and Emma Kunz. All three women are seminal figures in a school of abstraction dominated mostly by men. The book discusses the women's relationship to their medium, geometry and the sublime. (via Amazon)

Sharpie Marker Set

First to recommend

2 people recommended this item

Description

For me, Sharpies are more of a utility marker, you know for labeling things and etc. They're permanent and will write on most surface. As much as you want to, avoid using these to draw on your friend's face when they're sleeping. Unless you REALLY want to take it there. (via Utrecht)
