I've never been too into that New Romantic stuff, but the "Marie Antoinette" soundtrack has totally sold me on Siouxsie & The Banshees, New Order, Bow Wow Wow, and all those other bands. I'm especially obsessed with "Natural's Not In It" by Gang of Four, which mostly has to do with Sofia Coppola's brilliant use of the song in the film's opening credits (the shot of Kirsten Dunst getting her toenails done and dragging her finger through the cake frosting = one of my favorite movie images ever). Hi, how awesome is this album cover? If you've never been to an Eagles of Death Metal show before, go now - especially if you're a girl. Jesse "The Devil" Huges (the singer/guitar man) will repeatedly call out "Ladies to the front, mens to the back" and you can rush up to the stage and spend the rest of the show with your head resting dreamily on an amp, staring adoringly at Jesse as he fixes his oily hair with a plastic comb kept in his back pocket.

Anyway, "Death By Sexy" rules my school, and "Poor Doggie" just might be among my top five most-played tracks of the year. "Hot" with 84,000 "t"s.
