It's that time of life to upgrade my frames. I prefer plastic and have worn different pairs of the Bevel collection over the past years, but I think I am ready to try something new. Here are some of my favorites I've found on the Web - perhaps your'e in the same boat and my selections will help you, too. Keep in mind - if you're a contact-wearer like me , the more we wear our glasses and give our eyes a rest, the better!

I am utterly obsessed with Tom Ford eyewear - I hardly take off my sunglasses! I am so happy to find a similar prescription frame - who knows, I may have to just set up an exclusive arrangement with Mr. Ford himself.

Ralph Lauren 6006 Eyeglasses

I keep coming back to these Ralph Lauren frames. They're not quite right for me, but if I were an Upper East Side mother I'd snatch these in a second. They're so classic yet edgy, and the tortoise palette works with practically any coloring.

I wish I could find these in all black, I might be sold. I'm loving the thick plastic frames and the Chanel touch, I'm just not quite sure I'm ready for someting so avant-garde. They're so fabulous.
