Evite Online Invitations and Party Management

First to recommend

Description

So you want to have a get-together this holiday season? Send free invites to email addresses via evite! Not only are the designs totally cute but you can manage RSVP's, update guests with event details and changes and even provide logistics and mapping all online. For free.

And a new feature I LOVE- send it all right to a guest's mobile phone! No more late arrivals because Fred and Ginger couldn't find your street.

One of my favorite sites.

Wish Lists

First to recommend

Description

Give and get what you REALLY want this Christmas by creating individual gift lists for your kids and yourself that you can email to friends and family. Or search for THEIR lists by entering their email addresses.

Lists are updated as people purchase items and the giver doesn't have to dig around for your address- you've already entered all the details.

Plus, these keep yourself uber organized. One-Click Shopping allows you to buy and send (for free with two-day shipping if you are a Prime member or availing of the one month free trial for that service) all Amazon items to people you've entered into your online address book or simply save the items in specifically categorized lists for later.

The new Universal Wish List feature even allows you to add items that are on external sites to a Wish List.

Handy dandy.

Maybe your New Year's resolution is to finally organize your family photos...
Perhaps you want to find a hostess gift that is useful for once....
Do your kids have a digital camera? Would you like to encourage creativity?
Are you tired of the time and money you spend printing and sending out holiday photos or post-party pictures to attendees?
Did you forget to buy a present and need something ASAP?

flickr.

Whether you utilize the ample storage of a free account or purchase a $25 Pro Upgrade as a present for yourself or someone you know, this is one of the best sites online for organizing, sharing, printing and customizing gifts that utilize your digital images.

So instead of printing and mailing all of the Christmas Eve pictures to Aunt Edna, email her your online gallery address and let her pick the sizes she wants.

And be sure to check out the online groups on flickr. You can explore the world and your personal interests from your own desk.

Consider buying a Pro Account for your teenager or husband and using the print-out as a fabulous stocking stuffer. Or wrapping it in a lovely ribbon and presenting it to the hostess of a holiday party you attended. She'll be thrilled to have such an easy way to share the pictures from that night- and other attendees can upload their for her as well.

It's a great thing, flickr. Really great. (via Click Here to Buy Flickr Pro as a Gift)

Custom Visa Gift Cards

Description

You can upload your OWN images, too! Check out some of the options I added to the extra pictures section to get an idea of just how cool these are.

Perfect gift for teachers, teens, even kids (I just got two for my daughters for our Las Vegas vacation so they could feel "grown up" with their own purses).... Whether you put $5 on one as a stocking stuffer (Check out the "I Believe in Santa" design- sooooo cute!) or $250 for some serious gifting options, the customization gets rid of any silly ideas that this is an 'impersonal' gift. Imagine how much fun your little one will have with her "own" credit card.... and how much her teacher will appreciate the freedom to choose something she REALLY wants this Christmas.

Choose from hundreds of designs or upload your own. Then just pick an amount, enter the name that will appear on the card and itwill arrive in one of several attractive gift envelope options in about a week (Rush shipping available).

These are one-time use cards- ie the recipient can use them up until the balance is zero. They aren't refillable. But kids will love them for pretend play when they're empty!

If you haven't been to this site before, don't bother reading the rest of this. Just go now. You'll love it. Really.

What is it? It's an online treasure trove (a free one) of ALL of the recipes from Bon Appetit and Gourmet magazines. Just for starters. Create an account to avail of the online recipe box storage feature.

Of all of the recipe sites, this one is in the top three for ease of navigation, search features and additional site content. I've used it for years and it's always the first place I go when planning a menu. Best of all, it allowed me to clear space in my cabinets after years of collecting old issues "Just in case...."
