Description

I mean really, why didn't someone make these earlier? We have had "tapas" as buzzy trend for years now, and it's taken this long to actually come up with actual plates as "tapas?"

awesome. perfect for sophisticated summer entertaining out by the pool. (via The Delicious Life)

Murphy-Goode Liars Dice Zinfandel 2006

First to recommend

Description

Murphy-Goode's Zinfandel known as Liars' Dice is one of the winery's more popular bottles...

Sure, sure, there are rich, fruit flavors of black cherry and blackberry jam with soft tannins that perfectly balance the sweetness of the fruit.

But we just think it's the perfect bottle to have when *playing* Liars' Dice.

Front Porch Classics Liar's Dice

Description

You could put together a "set" yourself with cups and dice, but why? Just get a complete set, and this one from Front Porch is packaged up in a cute little die shaped box.

It'll pack and ship better than your janky set with Dixie cups in a masking taped ziploc bag, too.

(In case you have no idea how to play the game, wikipedia has the info:

Gamble with 18k Gold and Diamond Dice

2 people recommended this item

Description

If it's the Goode Life, you play Liars' Dice. If the GOODER Life, you play with 18k gold and diamond dice.

(Just as a side note, I had never heard of the game Liars' Dice before the application process for A Really Goode Job. I'm more of a Scrabble girl myself, but heck, if a game ends up with someone drinking, I am down.) (via Sarah's Search for the Goode Life)

Murphy-Goode Sauvignon Blanc 2007 "The Fumé"

First to recommend

Description

We're drinking this right now! (since we bought so much of the wine for my Murphy Goode Winery job application video).

Fortunately, the Fumé Blanc (the Californication of Sauvignon Blanc) is super perfect for the beginning of summer since it pairs well with "appetizers, salads, grilled chicken or fish, light sauces and lighter dishes in general. The wine's succulent fruit and good acidity complement fresh seafood, particularly shellfish."

So this weekend, we're throwing some shrimp on the barbie (maybe a couple on ken, too), and starting the summer off with Murphy Goode's "The Fumé." (via Sarah's Search for the Goode Life)

Night Vision Goggles with Dart Launcher

Description

i never had the pleasure of wearing head gear when in was in junior high, but i guess everyone's time will come - these night vision goggles are perfect for tracking owl populations which, like me, party at night.

i have no idea what the darts that get launched from your head are supposed to do but heck, it would probably scare the hell out of any night predators after you. (via Sarah's Search for the Goode Life)

Wilson F1100 Official NFL Game Football

First to recommend

Description

Supposedly they play "Vineyard Ball" up there at Murphy-Goode. Um, okay. Don't the vines get in the way?!

Whatever.

I'd like to take this moment to ask a slightly more important question.

WHY does a football cost over $100?!?!

For that price, it better come with a shoulder strap so that it can double as a handbag. (via Sarah's Search for the Goode Life)

Nerf Championship Collection Pro Grip Football Indianapolis Colts

First to recommend

Description

If I have to play football in the vineyard, then let it be with a soft Nerf ball emblazoned with the Colts logo so that 1) I won't hurt myself and 2) if I do hurt myself, at least it'll be for Peyton.

incidentally, the DAY before the Murphy Goode Winery job starts, the Colts play the Vikings in pre-season. it is, my friends, DESTINY.
