Dinosaur Soup (And Other Dubious Recipes Written by Children)

Description
Here's a cool concept for parents with creative and funny kids. The publishers of this book are currently accepting recipe submissions--spelling mistakes, fantastic hyperbole and all--from children about their favorite dishes. Everyone who submits gets a free copy of the book. (via barcelona)

Herbivore Shirt Salmon Street Studio

Description
Obviously, I can't advocate forcing my political views on my kid, but this shirt is pretty cute.

Robeez Tredz T-Rex

Description
Hard to say what kind of look you're cultivating for your kid with these shoes, aside from totally cute. There's a touch of Victorian, grandfatherly homeliness in the hand-made look of these shoes, and you're probably going to have to admit that kids only a few years older than your tot may end up making fun of him for wearing these. (The T-Rex is really the only concession you are making toward something that a kid might actually like.) But in terms of dress-up, these shoes are hard to beat.

Zanisa: Koala Pouch Pal

Description
Aiming to have your kid's storage unit for toys as cute and cuddly as the toys themselves is not a bad aspiration. This piece easily achieves the goal with the added incentive of being economical in its storage space, constantly reminding you that your kid probably has more toys than she needs. (via nocas)

Barbouille Blackboard, by Annette Tison and Kodansha

Description
Writing on the blackboard should be an interactive experience that's as fun as it is useful for the development of writing skills. This chalkboard should do the trick, and it's a great wall-hanging when not in use.

This is so completely fabulous. I would have loved to have been able to make my daughter a sink out of cardboard. The picture looks great- better than many commercial products I've seen.

Kidmodern Art - Drums

Description
This print marks a really nice point between what a parent (or maybe a grandparent) can visually appreciate and what a kid can get excited about. Kind of pricey, but, uh, "that's art?"
