Chamomile Turf for a Chamomile Lawn

First to recommend

2 people recommended this item

Description

What could be more English than a chamomile lawn? When I planted mine, the only way to do it was to plant individual plants (like thyme) and allow them to knit together. It took a good year or so of weeding before I could relax and enjoy it.

Annoyingly for me - but thankfully for the rest of you, the turfshop have gone and started supplying chamomile turf. A great idea - and I reckon chamomile lawns are going to get more an more popular now that we are trying to conserve water.

A chamomile lawn does not turn brown in the drought and does not need mowing! Howzat for low maintenance

Rocket Gardens - Instant Organic Vegetable Gardens

First to recommend

Description

Great way of growing fresh organic veg if you don't have a greenhouse (or time to grow your own plants form seed). I used Rocket gardens for the first time last year and although the seedlings looked a little sad when they arrived, I planted them straight into the soil (biodegradable coir pot and all) and within a couple of days they were looking strong and healthy. In a week, they had doubled in size. I had fresh strawberries and veg all summer and more cut and come again salad than I could eat!
