Description

Bag-E-Wash™ is a first-of-its-kind dishwasher accessory that allows you to easily clean and reuse your plastic food storage bags.

One box of 30 gallon-size bags washed with Bag-E-Wash™ and reused 50 times each saves $150.00 and keeps 1,500 bags out of the landfills. And diswashers are earth-friendly. A 1988 study at Ohio University showed the average dishwasher uses 9.9 gallons of water versus 15.7 gallons for an equal amount of dishes washed by hand. Much Obliged Notecards by Patina Store

First to recommend

Description

I was happy to run across these. I have a hard time finding thank you cards to suit my taste. These do the trick very nicely. A lovely frowning skull and crossbones with a very simply stated, "Much obliged." It's pretty funny, you have to admit, and hey, you are being polite and saying "Thank you" in a grunty sort of pirate way. Plus these cards are made from recycled paper. Bonus! Organic cotton pleated duvet cover and shams

7 people recommended this item

Description

This is one of the first duvet and sham sets that I have really been in love with the colors. It's also made of eco-friendly cotton as a plus. The earth tones would help to create a soothing and relaxing atmosphere in the bedroom. The texture of the duvet and sham covers add depth to the overall look of the bedding ensemble and room.

'RECYCLE OR DIE' WOMENS' T-Shirt by nowirehangers

First to recommend

Description

I can be a little picky about what sort of environmental slogans I wear. Not because they might too preachy, but because they may or may not reflect my style of expression. However, this t-shirt reflects me exactly! It's straight forward, timely and it has skulls on it. It's also so very, very true. (via etsy.com)

Handwoven Bamboo Scarf - Skiingweaver

First to recommend

Description

My default color in color and for accessories is black, but when I ran across this scarf I felt that I could definitely be more flexible. This is a beautiful scarf. If it's this gorgeous in the photo, I have to wonder what it must be like in real life. It's also made from one of my favorite fabrics of late - bamboo.

This handwoven bamboo scarf measures ~ 6" (15 cm) wide x 69" (175 cm) long, with 5" (12.5cm) of handtwisted fringe at each end. I used a combination of soft blue, sagey green and a neutral cream colored bamboo yarn.

The weave structure in this piece creates two different patterns in the finished scarf - one on each side, for two different looks!

Bamboo yarn weaves into gorgeously soft, light scarves with wonderful drape, and they're never itchy. Fold it in half, tuck the ends through the loop, and you've got yourself a lovely accent piece! (via etsy.com)

Laptop Armor - Zipper-Ended Laptop Sleeve with Extra Pocket by Interrobang

First to recommend

Description

These zipper-ended laptop sleeves are designed to keep your laptop safe and secure. They have an exoskeleton of seat belt material, and a soft interior of fleece. This style of laptop sleeve has a chunky zipper on the opening, and an extra external pocket. The pocket isn't lined, but is great for cables, USB attachments, etc.

The seat belt material is impressive. It is virtually indestructible: heat resistant, UV resistant, water resistant, fungus resistant and very hard to wear and tear. You trust your seat belt with your life, and now you can trust it with your laptop!

NOTE: The sleeve pictured has a red lining, which was a customer's request. Make sure you let the seller know which color lining you'd like, as the default color is light gray. (via etsy.com)
