All The Kings Men Messenger Bag
First to recommend
6 people recommended this item
Description
I bought one a little while ago and I love it. AllTheKingsMen from Melbourne, Australia creates messenger bags from recycled airline seatbelts, and they even look like the old style lifejackets that you used to find under your seat.
Available in different sizes, and with enough padding to protect a laptop, and a handy little front pocket and velcro closure.
I have a number of comment whenever I carry it. (via oO's very eclectic)

Description
Another Australian design classic, and one of my first design purchase in Sydney. The FINK Jug was created by Robert Foster, and is made from anodised aluminium. I love the flowing shape, and the metal keeps the content chilled. Perfect as a water jug (via notcot by oO)

Mini Lockheed Lounge
First to recommend
Description
I can barely afford this miniature reproduction of the famous Lockheed Lounge, let alone the original. Created in 1986 by Australian design superstar Marc Newson, I remember being amazed by the original which was in the lounge of the Paramount Hotel in New-York. (via oO's very eclectic)

Framed Picture Frame

Description
Designed by Alexander Lotersztain for Derlot, Framed is a simple sheet of stainless steel, with a slot to insert a picture, and a fold line for the stand, which can be both vertical or horizontal. Framed ships in a simple flat cardboard envelope, so you could even use it to send a photo along to friend or family (via oO's very eclectic)

Husque Bowl
First to recommend
4 people recommended this item
Description
Created by Marc Harrison, the Husque Bowl is made in Brisbane, Australia from macadamia nuts shells, which gives a very organic quality to the finish. I love the shape, which was also inspired by the macadamia nut, and the finish inside the bowl in a brightly colored resin. (via oO's very eclectic)
