My Mom recommended this movie to me. She said she saw it when she was on date with my Dad and was so scared she had to leave the theatre. I rented it a few years back and watched it with my best friend. It was scary, nothing I lost sleep over but it was pretty messed up. I recommend you watch it, just be ready to be disturbed.

My stars is this movie frightening. I have seen it a few times which means it isn't unbearably scary (like the Exorcist) but it is a scary and a really good movie. It is based on a true story which of course makes it 10 times scarier.

Okay I STILL can't watch this movie all the way through. I get way too scared. I have been on the "exorcist" stairs in Georgetown and yes its always cold on those steps, even in the summer. This is the scariest movie of all time.

Listen to me and listen to me good .. ghost/ dead people are scary. This is one of the coolest movies I have ever seen. If you haven't seen it yet, rent it. If anything to see that kid being all creepy and cute, or to see a young Mischa Barton, or for the famous twist.

My mom made me watch this movie when I was a kid- she prepped my by saying this was the scariest movie ever made. That was far from true- I laughed through the whole movie. But now as an adult I can appreciate the movie a little more...
It did make me fear birds in a serious way.

I remember seeing this movie in the theater in my high school. Scared the crap out of me. The opening scene is like nothing I have ever seen before. This movie has never been able to scare me again but the first shock will never be forgotten.
