Who Is Killing the Great Chefs of Europe?

Description

this 1978 movie is brilliant. it's my fun & quirky must-see recommendation for foodies, anyone who has ever worked in a restaurant, europhiles, mystery lover's & well...anyone who needs a good laugh. rich with detail, you'll watch it over & over again. the fantastic cast includes George Segal, Jacqueline Bisset, Robert Morley & Jean-Pierre Cassel. invite your friends - have them each bring their signature dish then eat & laugh all night long.

so bad it's good... the lo-tech effects in this 80's movie are reason enough to watch but throw in a genius cast that includes Laurence Olivier!!, Claire Bloom, Maggie Smith & Ursula Andress + greek mythology + an oft shirtless, young, HOT, Harry Hamlin & well - i'm sold. it's kitschy, ironic, heroic, hilarious & riveting all in one. LOVE it.

shot in all digital, this great little movie from alan cumming & jennifer jason leigh will make you laugh, cry & feel deliciously uncomfortable in a 2 hour span. the genius ensemble cast reads like an indie awards show roll-call & includes: alan cumming, jennifer jason leigh, parker posey, jane adams, kevin kline, phoebe cates, gwyneth paltrow, jennifer beals, john c. reilly - to name a few. it's a bonus see if you're at all in mid-century modern furniture, case study houses, or live in LA. it's fab.
