A strange, pansexual journey through the post apocalyptic city of , Belona. A Poet with amnesia, Knowin only as "the kid", is on a journey to find his past in a city thats gone mad. Lots of strange characters he meets along the way ( Many of them, he has sex with). This book is also deals a great deal with social and racial issues. The city of belona reminds me of Detroit actually, i can say that, cause i live here lol. But a MUST read, it may take you a while, but its worth it for all the wild pansexual orgies!! Enjoy!!!

A journey into japan's dark underworld. Dancing is used as a metaphor in this book. My review could never do it justice. Just read it, trust me!

Description
The book that bought Murakami in to the mainstream ofJapanese literature. A clasic love/coming of age story set in tokyo in the 1970's, with a murakami twist. This book became so popular in japan when it was released he fled to europe and the united states to live for a few years. A total clasic in my book.

Description
Siddhartha is a shimmering, indescent tale of spirtual quest. It is Nobel Prize-winner Hermann Hesse's most famous and influential work. So says the back cover lol. But its a great book, and a great summer quick read.

Sometimes dont we all feel as insignificant as a cockroach? Dark and sometimes funny. When people talk of Kafka, this is often the book there talking about. A classic.

Description
Billy Pilgrim has become unstuck in time. The book jumps from various points in billys life, with a focus on world war II and the bombing of Dresden in germany. Also he is captured by aliens and put on exhibit in some strange human zoo on the planet Tralfamadore, with another captive, Montana Wildhack who happens to be a porno star. Bombings, aliens, time travel, porno stars, what more could you ask for in a book? I dont mean to trivialize it with this short synopsis. you have to read it to understand. Its a great analysis of the human condition, from a strange perspective. A classic from Vonnegut.

Description
Oh my gosh I can't wait for this book!! Amy Sedaris is just hysterical, and to give a party under her guidance would be like Martha Stewart on acid. I'm clearing weekends now... (also makes a great hostess gift) (via Extreme Craft)
