Seersucker Baby Girl Blazer

Description
Who knows why a toddler needs a seersucker coat, but this is going to be a summer highlight.

Baby Legs Pink Dot

Description
This is the second pair of leg warmers that baby wears under a dress as tights. Super cute and versatile, and they're great for keeping her warm when she's wearing a onesie. (via Lucia)

Just Kidd'n Ladybug Baby Booties

Description
Sturdy shoes aren't much of an issue for a pre-walking infant, so these booties, with elastic bands at the back of the ankle are ideal. My kid tends to kick shoes and socks off, but these stay on pretty snug. The bottom is lined with textured rubber for traction and durability. Plus, they're pretty cute and come in a broad range of slightly-loud fabrics.

Printed Poplin Top

Description
I'm not vocal supporter of Old Navy, but I'm pleasantly surprised by this top for baby. The cut is fantastic, with a roomy, comfortable fit that looks great. She's currently a full-grown 10 months, so the wide shoulders, smoothly set of by that broad neck, fit her well and make the whole look stylishly slimming. The elastic cuffs are a bit cheasy and stand out as an undercooked element of a nicely realized piece, alongside the thin material, but these are minor complaints about a really cut top. I like the other patterns, too, and will likely go back for more.

babyGap Baby Girl Stitch-detailed flare jeans

Description
Her first denim. She seemed to step into a new realm of fashionability with this piece. Looking back, this was probably the first phase of seeing her as a kid rather than a baby. We brought her home and put them on immediately and laughed out loud at how great she looked.

Tea Collection Tango Silk Dress for Girls

Description
This is a (four seasons later) variation on the holiday dress we've been getting a whole lot of mileage out of this year, from Thanksgiving through several Xmas parties and probably through New Year's Eve and into her birthday in February. We discovered the Tea last spring and bought a slightly expensive dress big, waiting months for the chance to make it her holiday dress.

This one was actually purchased before she was born. The sentiment is funny as it is, but, looking back, it probably also spoke to our concern about what we were getting ourselves into and what we were going to do to this tiny, unsuspecting person.

BabyLegs Leg Warmers

Description
Yeah, I put my baby in legwarmers. This accessory is a lot more versatile than you might think. We essentially use the legwarmers as tights, and they leave only the slightest bit of upper thigh (currently one of her chubbiest and cutest features) exposed. They can also extend down over her feet, leaving only the toes exposed, as a makeshift sock. (via Lucia)
