Han Solo Frozen Carbonite Executive Desk

4 people recommended this item

Description

When you have the body of Han Solo frozen in carbonite as your office desk, you're:

1: Proclaiming to the world that you're nothing more than a giant nerd.
2: Setting the tone for any office meeting.
3: Letting people know that the cover sheets on the TPS reports are essential
4: You're a "people person"
or lastly
5: You dont take kindly to people destroying your last office building.

either way, pretty damn cool.

Star Wars Death Star by LEGO at FAO Schwarz

First to recommend

Description

There's a part of me who thinks... "oh for crying out loud, another thing created in the medium of Lego... what's bloody next? Lego Halo? Lego GTA?.. is there any pop culture icon that Lego wont immediately attach itself to like a lamprey and suck all its worth from?"

Then I immediately snap out of my cynical mode, and jump into my childlike geek mode and think.... Wow, I have to get one, I wonder how many legos it took, and how awesomely cool is that?

This was one of those cases, after being cynical for half a second, I sat there and absorbed all the cool things about this. The death laser, the little ship on the side, the death star in all its uncompleted glory.

My geek side wins again. (via FAO)

Ask Me About My Death Ray! T-Shirt

First to recommend

Description

When I saw this shirt on Printfection, I knew it would go very well with my ever-growing collection of retro-tech tshirts.

The design is so simple, and classic and I just love the friendly way it invites you to ask me about my death ray.

To be honest, my death ray is just a flashlight with a copper grip and a vivid imagination, but that's only because people dont like funding "death-rays". oh well. (via Printfection)

xkcd store

Description

I'd like to put links for a few items in the xkcd store, but there are no individual pages for individual items, so I'm just plopping them all down right here.

Xkcd is a brilliant comic for the nerdkind which just makes me happy. Adding to that happy are t-shirts saying things like "science, it works bitches" and "stand back, I'm going to try science"

Do you have a friend who is a geek? Well they probably read xkcd already so why not give them the "Actual Size" stickers to play with, or a map of the internet poster? They'll love you forever.

Threadless T-Shirts - Prehistoric Freak by Glenn Jones

First to recommend

Description

As a lover of all things dinosaurian, paleontological, osteopathic, and fossilized things. (and a distinct disdain for Barney the dinosaur) I found this absolutely hilarious.

It took me a second to recognize what it actually was, but once it hit me, I nearly ruined yet another keyboard with projectile coffee.

Brilliant!
