Brown Felt Pads for under furniture!

Another super trick from the memory bank at Evangelista...

These felt pads should be used under anything sitting on your floors! When you get a new dining room table and chairs, buy enough of these to do every single chair and table leg. You will thank yourself later.
You can pop a few on the back of any painted wood chairs too, that rub against your wall's paint job.

Also, anyone considering refinishing their floors should be purchasing these in bulk!!! The dark brown color is perfect for dark wood floors, so that you don't see the traditional off white color. (blech)

These are equally important on table tops and countertops... If you're installing new countertops, these belong under any unfinished pottery and anything that might leave nasty scratches on your new countertops!!!

An ounce of prevention on these things goes a REALLY long way... Trust me. The shock on a client's face when the staging company didn't bother with these under a giant bowl on their brand new Carrera Marble countertops and left huge, thick gouges on the surface is something I hope not to see any time soon... :( (shudder)

Wire Wall Storage With Hooks- inexpensive and artsy way to use your wall!

The price on this is fantastic. $195. Using this you can create storage, as well as serious visual interest on a wall. If you hang it a bit lower, you can also use the top to stand things on, or... you could hang 4 pictures directly over this unit to create a true art wall... plus your dresses, shirts, (whatever) can hang from underneath this -- keeping frequently used items right at hand!

Also... consider painting the space directly behind the storage rack to add a pop of color!

Safe breathing mask for home improvement

This thing looks kind of freaky (or kinky, depending on who you are!) but I can't stress enough how important this was to one of my clients.

We were doing an intense 3 month renovation to get my VERY pregnant client and her husband into their home before the birth of their first child. Things got really complicated with the renovation when we hit a lot of mold damage. Having on-site discussions with my client in her state were dangerous-- until she found this respirator mask.

This thing is no joke when you are renovating a home with mold damage, also really good to have around if someone is pregnant and still wants/needs to see progress. Even low VOC paints shouldn't be breathed in by expectant moms, not to mention sanding old paint can release lead paint!

I love these!

They are perfect for a bookcase that you need to add some color to.
The colors of blue are really relaxing and you can actually store your unattractive crap in them.

Boxes are so underrated. These look good and manage all the little wily things that collect around the house. Can't hurt that they are on sale too!!
