Wow, what a wonderful addition to my 'aquariums that rock ' list!

The Spacearium is an aquarium that is suspended from the ceiling and has a 360 degree view (for both you and it's inhabitants!)
.
It comes in 3 sizes: 5', 6' or 8' in width.
Saltwater or freshwater.

The 5 footer size holds 58 gallons and costs $4,900.
Available for either residential or commercial use.

We've all seen the wall mounted fishbowl or pods. I, myself, posted them on here over a year ago.

But have you seen what happens to those if you don't wash them frequently? Yech.

Description

So often large fishtanks are hideous. In that cheesy black polycarbonate or even worse, those heinous orbs on octogonal pedestals. But at Aquarium source they will build you a custom tank with your choice of several shapes sizes and beautiful woods.

Wall mounted fishtanks look nice and clean, but any aquarium owner will tell you that there are lots of 'supplies' that go with a tank, not to mention fish food, and a nice cabinet in which to conceal that makes it even nicer.

Pacific Blue Design Fish Tank

These fish must be ecstatic.

UK-based Pacificblue Design specializes in glass "products for both commercial and domestic interior spaces". It's their aquariums that catch the eye. Handmade from 6mm thick annealed glass using a low visibility bonding process, the 43-litre Delphi Aquarium comes complete with tank, choice of two lids and four colors of gravel. The tank is 410mm H x 680mm L x 320mm W and weighs 60kg with water. MSRP approx. 350.00.

Wall mounted fish bowl

Description

A bunch of different companies make these so look at them closely.

Some have small openings (hard to get in their to clean, and some have larger. Also, some hang from two separate holes and others have just one in the center.

Most importantly, some are acrylic and some are lucite. The lucite will stay clear and unscratched much longer.

This link is an actual manufacturer who sells directly. Nice and cheap.

Named the 'O' and the 'O,O', both do a spectacular job of combining the functionality of a vase and a fishbowl or aquarium with the elegance of a simple piece of lead crystal. Description

I guess this would be more beneficial to men than women since they are facing the aquarium toilet as they use it, but I still think it's a beauty.

The same company makes a matching wash basin as well. And this isn't a prototype! it's actually available for $1100.00 US dollars.

I guess the big question is, how often does one have to clean the tank? Cleaning a toilet is chore enough. (via elseware.to)
