Only baby book you will need: "Dear Parent: Caring for Infants With Respect "(2nd Edition): Magda Gerber,Joan Weaver: Books
First to recommend
Description
Best book for approaching parenthood and your baby. The philosphy is simple: treat your baby with respect. It really is a tome of common sense, but a good refresher for all those parents harried by our intrusive culture of over stimulation and accessorization.

Baby's Wooden Bowl
First to recommend
Description
Best bowl I have found for feeding the baby. Natural and toxic free just don't leave it in the sink soaking in water or it will split. I have 6 in rotation and sometimes they stain from berry juice, but then they become even more beautiful.

Alessi Watches

Description
Perfect for nursing moms because there are no sharp edges or hardware. I found that regular watches could cut the back of my baby's head when I was positioning her to nurse in my arms. As a nursing mother I found that time was something I had to keep track of for nursing and naps so a watch was crucial. Now that my daughter is older she can play with it without hurting herself or damaging it because it's close to indestructible. I was the hit at my mommy and me group because all the babies were mesmerized by the glow of my bright orange watch.
