Tostitos Scoops Tortilla Chips, Hint of Jalapeno
First to recommend
Description
I try new foods all the time, and its very rare that I find something so tasty that it seems destined to become hugely popular. These chips have that wow factor that I haven't experienced since I first tried Cool Ranch Doritos.
I think of these chips as somewhere between normal Tostitos (plain corn chips) and Doritos (a bit much flavor). They have just the right amount of a really nice flavoring. We've been buying them regularly, but lately they've been sold out at the store. Maybe they're catching on and Tostitos is scrambling to keep up with demand? If not, and Tostitos fails to keep these on shelves, they will have made one of the biggest blunders in the history of packaged foods.

2006 Jack Creek Cellars Pinot Noir

Description
This is an excellent Pinot Noir that we found on a trip to Santa Barbara. A great special occasion wine, very smooth. Somewhat expensive (I think around $30/bottle), but worth it.

Mama Zuma's Revenge Habanero Potato Chips

Description
You can usually find Jalapeño or spicy BBQ chips at your local grocery, but you're unlikely to find anything nearly as hot as these "Mama Zuma's Revenge" chips. I got these in a gift basket recently, and really enjoyed the flavor and style (think Kettle Chips or other premium chips), but could barely finish the bag due to the extreme heat. These are a great experience for lovers of spicy food.

Bacon-Wrapped Filets 10 (5 oz.)

Description
The only thing better than a nice steak is that same steak wrapped in bacon. Plus these are only 5 ounce steaks, so it could be part of a healthy meal (or you could eat 3 at a time).

Tiparos Thai Fish Sauce - 25 oz x 2 bottles
First to recommend
Description
Fish sauce is a critical component used for flavoring your Thai curries and other Thai food - think soy sauce or salt. Tiparos is what we use at home.

Chaokoh Thai Coconut Milk - 5.6 oz can
First to recommend
Description
This is the Thai coconut milk that my sister (who is not Thai, but makes a mean green curry) recommends. It gives your curry that nice creamy flavor and compliments the spiciness of the curry paste.

List that features this:
Maesri Thai green curry - 4 oz x 2 cans
First to recommend
Description
This is an excellent choice for making Thai green curry at home. It has a nice spicy flavor, and will give great results when used properly with coconut milk, fish sauce and vegetables.
If you don't have easy access to an asian grocery store, ordering from Amazon might be a good option for you.

Pico Pica Mexican Hot Sauce 7 oz - HOT
First to recommend
2 people recommended this item
Description
I just discovered this great mexican hot sauce at one of our favorite Santa Monica restaurants, Babalu. It has a nice, simple tomato and chile pepper flavor, and (for me) the perfect amount of spiciness - a bit more than Tapatio or Cholula and less than all the "insane" hot sauces that aren't good for more than a few drops.
The flavor is much nicer than the over-vinegar-y Tabasco sauce. If you've only tried Tabasco, you should check out Pico Pica along with Tapatio and Cholula. (via Babalu)
