Hey! This is a perfect hair band for Burning Man. Seriously. It's like wearing art. I even have a devil costume, though it does not do this headband justice (it's a bit Las Vegas). Sigh. Maybe I can accidentally create something like this by throwing my headband in the dryer with a bunch of jewelry and yarn?

There is always a quest during Burning Man to deck out your tent... I don't know how or why, but I've fallen into that trap too. You start thinking about how to make your tent cool. You NEVER spend any time in your tent except to crash. Regardless, I want one of these. The mini laser light show. It small and uses batteries, so it's perfect for travel. It's very inexpensive ($15). And I haven't seen it amongst my Burner buddies yet. I am so silly.

I ordered six of these for this year's Burning Man. Weather reports as of August 19 warns for extreme wind conditions (30 mph). This means insane amount of dust storms. I think I'll bring every dust-type gear I have around the house, just in case. And nasal spray! (via Burner)
