Myst for Nintendo DS

First to recommend

Description

Yes, I am a nerd.

Back in grade school my brother and I spent hours in front of our PC while it chugged slowly through Myst.

We scrawled notes to solve the mysteries of this Island, flipped switches and pushed buttons.

Newly released for Nintendo DS, you can relive the mystery of one of the most successful RPGs ever created in a portable package.

The graphics are a little fuzzy, but considering how old Myst is, it translates well into the DS format.

To all my fellow nerds. You're welcome.

GelaSkins | Little Red by Catalina Estrada

First to recommend

Description

I have loved work by Catalina Estrada ever since I saw an image of hers used to illustrate a story in Wired magazine.

Since then her work has adorned everything from stationary and apparel to a limited edition Microsoft Zune.

I love that Gelaskins has made her work accessible to the everyday person. Her designs were adapted to skins for laptops, the PSP, PSP slim, and Nintendo DS.

So now your DS can look pretty and be protected at the same time. Cool.

Great for teens, or grown-up children. Like me!

My only dissappointment. Can anyone make these with Hello Kitty on them?

Zapi Toothbrush Sanitizer

2 people recommended this item

Description

My husband and I got one of these one year for the holidays. It was called a violight, but it was a bit big and bulky for a tiny nyc apartment and needed an ac adapter to work.

It wasn't long until the adapter went missing and so did the violight.

These are cool because they are compact and battery operated.

Available in blue, green and white, $29.99 each, The Container Store.

Sushi Shrimp Cell Phone Charm

First to recommend

Description

A great package topper or gag stocking stuffer.

I used to love to hang tons of charms from my cell phone, it made me feel like a Harajuku girl. Albeit a thirty-something Harajuku girl in a conservative black suit.

I think this one is cool, and its on sale! Buy a bunch for office-mates to give out as blind gifts.

This particular one is on sale for $7.99 from Accessorygeeks.com.
