I really, really like mechanical pencils (they are always sharp!). I haven't used these yet but they contain almost 72% recycled content. I'll be grabbing a pack of these to try soon!

These have been my fave mechanical pencil for many years. Good value, rugged, dependable. What more could you ask for? Recycled content woudl be nice. Despite that, these are a great buy!

I tend to travel with my laptop a bit so I wanted a way to get my computer to school and something that would serve as a portable office when travelling. REI has a history of creating well-designed products that are more reasonably priced than the big "name" products. This messenger bag is really cool and also made of 100% recycled PET. It can serve simply as a vehicle to tote your laptop around safely and has plenty of room and compartments available for the rest of your office goodies.

CamelBak was one of the first companies to create BPA-free water bottles. I like the bite valve though at times I feel sort of like a nursing infant when I go to get a glug of water. I would recommend getting the insulated sleeve if you life anywhere hot and humid. I fill mine with ice water from home and get condensate on the outside of the bottle if I don't use the sleeve.
