Salad Sac - Green

First to recommend

Description

This sac keeps your greens fresher for days! Voted "Best Gourmet Accessory" at the Atlanta Gourmet Show, this sac combines absorbent material and moisture to keep greens fresher than their plastic bag counterparts. Wash greens, put them in the sack (don't dry greens in between), and sprtiz the sac every once in a while in between to keep them moist and fresh. My greens are always going bad - this would save me a lot of money!

Kitchen Multi Storage

First to recommend

Description

This is so handy! I hate having to open up a drawer and dig everything out everytime I want to use some foil or saran wrap. This storage device holds paper towels, saram wrap, foil, or wax paper all in a neat wall installation. A modern design by those efficient Germans (who else?). So handy.

Nordic Rock: Stone Ice Cubes

8 people recommended this item

Description

You know when your pour some Coca Cola over ice and then the ice melts, so pretty soon you have watery Coke in a glass? Yea, that's always bugged me. Maybe I'm neurotic but at least these will save me now. Nordic Rock Stone is mined in Swedish (pollution free rock, fyi) and freezes in about an hour. Then, they'll keep your drink cool for a long time without watering it down. And they're reusable! You need about 3 cubes per drink for lasting coldness - the pack comes with 10 and a nice leather case to keep them in when not in use.

Caffecino Tote

First to recommend

Description

This is a great way to bring fresh coffee or tea to a picnic or camping. It is an insulated tote bag that comes with 2 stainless steel mugs, one 24 oz thermal flask, two containers for cream and sugar, two napkins, and two teaspoons. How cute! So much fun. Just wake up your friend or loved one, take em to the beach, and enjoy fresh coffee oceanside. What a lovely morning.

NESCO Snackmaster Express All-In-One Dehydrator

2 people recommended this item

Description

I never knew dehydrating food was doable in your own home. I always reserved it for those jerky stands you see on the way to Mammoth. But with the Nesco, anyone can dehydrate meats and fruits in their own home, making healthy, delicious snacks. It has a built in Vitasave function that retains the vitamins in the fruit - - you can also dehydrate herbs and use them for cooking later!

Description

The Aerogrow allows you to grow herbs in your own kitchen, and grow them well! Not to mention, it looks pretty snazzy. This is a treat for anyone who loves to cook or bake. I would love one to grow basil and cilantro so I don't have to buy them at the store every week. And, it really makes growing them easy. A great way to make organic gardening a part of your everyday life. A grat gift for anyone, too!

Sanyo Indoor Barbecue Grill

First to recommend

Description

We're coming into the winter months, now, which means we won't be as anxious to fire up that outdoor grill and tend to it for a half hour. This indoor grill is a perfect answer to the whole temperature lowering problem. This grill sears food like any barbecue, but has a drip pan that collects all the fat. So it's healthy AND convenient. The drip tray also ensures smoke-free cooking indoors. Nonstick covering and temperature gauge ensures clean and efficient cooking. A great gift for anyone, too!

Topsy Turvy Tomato Planter

5 people recommended this item

Description

My Dad grows tomatoes every year, and they are amazing. If you haven't tasted a homegrown tomato, you haven't lived much. I always want to do the same but don't have the soil to do so. With the Topsy Turvy planter though, anyone can grow tomatoes, cucumbers, eggplants, etc anywhere! Just add soil, a plant, and water with tap water. I never knew this could work, but I'm really glad someone figured it out. Ooh this summer I'm going to have the best tomatoes on the block.
