Bruce Springsteen - Greatest Hits

Description
My husband has a love for Bruce Springsteen that I may never understand but so does the rest of Norway. Tickets for his last concert in Norway sold out within a matter of minutes and he was so kind to add another show for his fans. Hubby has been listening to The Boss since his youth and owns almost every album and single release that you can think of but oddly enough does not own his greatest hits! I think this would make a great stocking stuffer this year.

Cause And Effect: Maria Mena
First to recommend
Description
This is the fourth album from Maria Mena and it just keeps getting better. While many of the songs are hard to digest you realize just how emotionally raw and honest she is. Many of the songs are about the personal struggles and devastating effects she faced due to her parents (depression, anorexia, failed relationships) and you almost feel as if you are reading pages directly from her diary. While I had hoped her latest album would have included a bit more variety this is the only album that's made me cry in a very long time. (Especially when it comes to her honesty about anorexia early in her life.)
"I can't laugh too hard I'm on a diet
I'm trying to lose myself you ought to try it
Just starve for six days oh it's a riot."
Many of the songs go on to talk about her parents which is something that not many artists do and I applaud her for it. This album has come across as being honest and dignified and doesn't ask forgiveness for it.

Just Dance: MP3 Downloads: Lady GaGa

Description
I don't really listen to dance music too often unless something catchy comes along that really sparks my interest. Maybe I'm the only one in my circle of friends that loves this song but I don't care. These remixes are just as fabulous and I'm not afraid to admit it!

Elv1s 30 #1 Hits: Elvis Presley: Music
First to recommend
Description
I can't believe this is only nine dollars on amazon! This is a wonderful collection of 30 of Elvis' #1 hits which includes songs that weren't previously included on the first collection. The tracks have all been remixed from original master and some of the songs have never sounded crisper and better. If you're a diehard Elvis fan you might be slightly disappointed by this fact but for the avid listener that loves Elvis in any platform this would make a great gift.

Indiana Jones: The Soundtracks Collection: John Williams: Music
First to recommend
Description
Since my husband is a huge Indiana Jones fan and already owns the original trilogy this new soundtrack collection would be great to help complete his collection. This includes remastered versions of Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. It also includes previously unreleased music as well as the original Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull soundtrack. Bonus! It even comes with a bonus CD with unreleased music and interviews featuring John Williams, Steven Spielberg, and George Lucas.

The Living Sea: Soundtrack From The IMAX Film feat. STING
First to recommend
Description
I'm MAD about this soundtrack. This infact was the first CD I had ever purchased back in good ol' 1995 and still pop in every so often to bring me back to memories of childhood vacations. in 1995 I saw this film on a class trip and instantly fell in love with the melodies. Now as an adult I have come to appreciate more of the relaxing instrumentals and Sting's wonderful interpretation of the sea. This soundtrack is so serene and very enjoyable during long summer nights.

Zenkyokusyu: Meiko Kaji
First to recommend
Description
This is one album that I have no regrets buying. (Despite its outrageous price!) Better known as Lady Snowblood, Meiko Kaji is an incredibly famous actress and also an accomplished singer and performer. The selection of songs are incredibly sexy and are original versions. If I had to describe her music in only one sentence I would have to say, "It's music to spy to when you're about to take your revenge."
- You'd most likely recognize her music from the Kill Bill soundtracks.

I Megaphone: Imogen Heap
First to recommend
Description
Before Frou Frou and the modern-day Imogen Heap we all know, this is what Imogen Heap sounded like. The expression, the rawness, and the relationship between her piano and trip-hop beats is what makes it uniquely Imogen. At only 19 she released this which makes this album even more of a breakthrough accomplishment.

Such an inredibly delicate sound. The sadness and sorrow-filled tracks are personal and raw with a poetic heart.
