Anti-Monopoly
2 people recommended this item
Description
If you like the game of Monopoly, check out this cool new version called Anti-Monopoly ($25). In this altered modern version, you can choose whether you want to play as a free-market competitor or a monopolist and then must adhere to entirely different rules. Competitors charge fair rent, create supply and demand and can end a price war, while greedy monopolists charge high rents, restrict supply and can go to prison for price fixing. Either way you go, somebody will still cheat, the game board will get pushed off the table, tempers will flare, family and friends will be divided, punches will get thrown and everyone will end up in jail without ever passing Go. I love Monopoly! (via The Green Head)

wineopoly

Description
Wineopoly! Another excuse to guzzle vino, and hey - you could even bet your bottles with this game. From the state "Players buy favorite wines, collect bunches of grapes and trade them in for decanters. Sounds easy enough but add Import Taxes and serving faux pas and it becomes a little more difficult and a lot more fun! Learn while you play! Each deed back contains wine descriptors and fun facts about each wine. It's all fun and games until you're sent to the Wine Cellar to age-then you're out of the game for three turns."
