Etsy Seller: DigitalSoaps

Description
I guess I'm in the mood for the absurd: a Nintendo controller soap, an iPod soap. These somehow manage to escape the label 'kitch' and move into the category of 'geek cool'.

Etsy Seller: hand over fist

Description
Home of disguises in the form of bandannas. If you want to be a tiger, no wait, a lion, no maybe a tiger, this is how to do it. Unless you want to be a bunny or a bear, in which case you'll need a different bandanna.
Also available, Obama inauguration bandannas. Just in case you need one.

Description
Damn good graphic design. (I'm sick today so I can't think of a good way to describe things - just take a look at this guy's stuff, I think you'll like it. Especially the illustrations.)

Description
Detailed, elegant clothing from Ireland. This Etsy seller has some items that I can only describe as really lovely. Assertive shrugs with flowers, nicely cut jackets, romantic dresses.
I don't know the language of clothing well enough to describe these. Go take a look and find your own description.

Etsy Seller: Hamburgerpanda: Illustration of a different flavor.

Description
I like the oddball, the quirky, the strange. Hamburgerpanda sells idiosyncratic illustrations: bearsicles, robot sea life, a pony in a jar, and it all works. (via Print and Pattern blog)

Etsy Seller: Goosegrease
First to recommend
Description
Goosegrease sells both customized wooden dolls as well as unpainted families so you can make your own. The unpainted dolls would be a great gift for a kid - I can imagine how much fun it would be to paint them.
Custom dolls are also available but right now are not ready for shipping on time for Christmas (or Hannukah).

Wonderfully goofy felt and yarn beards. Because sometimes you just need a beard. (via Cursive Design's guest blog on Design Sponge)

Cotton Monster

Description
Get a little monster for your little monster. These slightly awkward, entirely cute little guys are handmade from recycled fabrics and will provide years of hugging and company.

Description
I'm attracted to maps and topo maps are an especial favorite. This Etsy seller makes topo map inspired cards among other things and I think I know someone who would get a kick out of these too.
My dad.

Etsy Seller: DJReigel
First to recommend
Description
D.J. Reigel engraves pocket knives. You could carry one of these in your pocket for years and maybe give it to your son or daughter. The kind of thing you'd use. I'd get this for a boy starting boy scouts, or a dad on father's day, or the woman you know who always wished she could join the boy scouts (that's me!).
