I'm in Wonderland - a list by nanashi

About this list:

Ever decide to hold an Alice in Wonderland themed tea party in the woods but just can't seem to find the right outdoor furnishings, food and guests to match your lolita dress and copious amounts of eyeliner? No, me neither. A little while ago, however, I had to decorate a basement to resemble the infamous scene from Alice in Wonderland with only a printer and a roll of streamers for a friends party. It turned out alright, but next time this situation comes around, I wont be so unprepared.

Comic Genious: Fashion That Seriously Kicks Ass!
Updated Aug 3, 2008
With all the buzz about the Met's Superhero Fashion exhibit, its only natural that fashion lovers and comic book geeks are getting into the spirit of the event, and the web is just buzzing with praise for the event as everyone is shouting out their own favourite fashion heroes! So, here we are, yet another shrine to all those paper marvels who dedicate their lives to fighting crimes; both fashion and otherwise. To those in tights, we salute you.

Send in the Gladiators!
Updated Jul 7, 2008
Everyone knows what a gladiator's job REALLY was. It wasn't fighting the lions and tigers and bears (oh my!), impressing emporers, pleasing Gods or defending against Spartan warriors. Their job was to model one of the country;s most stylish fashion items (no, not a toga)! Today, gladiator sandals are hotter than ever. Kate Moss having started the trend a few years ago, but, hey, all trends take a few (thousand, if you count the ancient Romans) years to take off. So, here are some of my favourites.

Looks like Risky Business!
Updated Jun 23, 2008
The 1983 movie 'Risky Business' is a teen classic no matter how you look at it. Through most of the movie (and from the top the equally famous movie poster) Tom Cruise looks out through a pair of Wayfarer glasses. Now, these glasses are back, and they're been the inspiration for a number of clothing items, going far beyong the eye-wear borders.

Such A Tee-se
Updated May 23, 2008
I love t-shirts. I mean, what's not to love: the insane variety of neck cuts, styles, the fact that they are the most basic way for an artist to break into fashion or the fact that they look good on almost everyone? Perhaps its the fact that they can be shirts, or dresses, casual or proffessional, or maybe its the fact that you can make a noticable statement for next to nothing. Well whatever your beef is with these staples of leisure wear, maybe this list tees picked by yours truely can change your mind.

Q-Tech
Updated May 15, 2008
No, I do not understand the name of this list either. I remember I was going to write something like "Cute-Tech" for, of course, cute Technology, but then I realized it sounded like "Q-Tip" which everyone knows is the brand name of a cotton-swab on a stick... but I digress. I can tell you, however, the nature of this list: that these are technology-related items that I think are remarkable in function or design.
