The New York Times

13 people recommended this item

Description

Still the finest newspaper in America. The Sunday edition, which includes the New York Times Magazine and the Book Review, is one of the highlights of my week—well worth the expense. Also, a TimesSelect subscription is inexpensive and allows access to all of the print edition's content online.

If you're a DDR fan, why not play it on your computer? StepMania is free, open-source, cross-platform software that supports USB dance pads and thousands of community-made songs. It's become my #1 source of exercise.

WNYC Radio Lab

First to recommend

Description

Radio Lab is a radio show (and free podcast) that offers an hour-long exploration of scientific issues. That probably sounds boring. It isn't. Radio Lab is a wild-eyed experiment that combines the best aspects of Scientific American, This American Life, and, um, Car Talk. Always smart, always funny.
