I genuinely can't say enough about this film. If you're a music fan, and especially a Clash fan, it'll give you chills. It's a film that perfectly honours Joe Strummer while at the same does not romanticize him.
Fantastically visual and a fascinating look at a fascinating, charismatic man gone too soon. You'll want to rush home and crank up "White Riot."

Duffy is going to be the next big thing. Once you hear her you will know what I mean. If you are a fan of soul music, especially that wonderful British 60's soul, than you need this CD by Duffy! She is amazing. She has been compared to Dusty Springfield, and while I can see that she has her own unique sound. She grew up in Wales out in the country and did not even listen to the radio. She watched old Ready, Steady, Go videos of her parents, with bands on it like the Stones, etc. She did not have anyone to influence her as to what was or wasn't cool. She just determined for herself without outside influence what she liked. This CD isn't going to be released in the US until May 13. However, you don't have to wait and can order right now from Amazon UK. What are you waiting for?

Canadian/British electro-pop band Dragonette have been tipped by many as ones to watch in 2007. Their music isn't terribly original but frontwoman Martina Sorbara is so chockfull of charisma, sex appeal, chutzpah, determination and intelligence this band has "IT" unquestionably - try to explain it, I dare you! The buzz about Dragonette and their first two addictive singles "I Get Around" and "Take It Like A Man" have won them a growing fan base which will only get bigger when their first full-length CD is scheduled for release in August 2007.
