Neasa Jacket from Marimekko

I have always loved Marimekko fabric prints, like the infamous Unikko poppies.

This jacket-dress is an amazingly mod style, with an equally retro, yet modern, floral print.

It comes in three colorways, is made of washable cotton, and like most things from marimekko, is uniquely timeless.

Its a bit of a splurge at $225, but its screenprinted, cut and sewn in Finland so it has that international cache, and if cared for properly will last more than a lifetime. (via Kiitos Marimekko)

Many are exclusive in plus-sizes for Avenue, like Seven7, Yanuk, Antik and Premium Jordache.

Floral V-Neck Sweater

You always need basics, but why do they have to be so...... basic? This is a great top in the color of the season, gray, and with an interesting black scrolling floral pattern. Great with jeans or black work pants.

I'm a size 18 and often get frustrated I can't find good on-trend tops in my size. This looks like one of the designer jean brand tops, only I can finally wear this look!! YAY. (via Avenista Blog)

Confession time: I secretly love Gossip Girl. I have long searched for a similar headband to Blair's from the Pilot episode.

I have seen some that were similar, but also cost a small fortune.

Then I found this headband from Twelve by Twelve from Forever 21. Called the Couture Blossom Headband, it looks like a million bucks, but only costs $12.00.

I love this hoodie. Its like the grown up version of the sailor dress every little girl seems to have.

From the Sailor Jerry brand, the official purveyors of merchandise in the style of tattoo artist Norman Collins, its my favorite kind of clothing. Functional and useful without being boring.

My only complaints, I wish is also came in the reverse colorway: white anchors on navy blue (white gets dirty too easily). The pricetage: $74 is a little steep for a hoodie. And there are only mediums and smalls left.

Get yours before they all sell out.

This one was already sold, but I have to give props to Etsy seller mariapozo for not only her skill, but her choice of fabric and color.

I am never much into something so romantic, feminine and, forbid, floral, but like a true work of art it transcends.
