I love the natural color and perforations on these low heel pumps.

Perfect for everyday work outfits.

The natural color goes with just about everything, the low heel is comfortable for all day wear - and the perforations and scalloping make it feminine and pretty without being too precious.

When I was little I used to play in my Mom's jewelry box.

She had an awesome chain link bracelet with a huge monogrammed disc attached. When I would wear it, I felt like Audrey Hepburn, or a wealthy deb from The Graduate.

All I needed was a 60s convertible Karmann Ghia. When I shift gears, my monogram bracelet would jingle flirtatiously.

Back to reality. These earrings remind me of my Mom's bracelet. I never usually like Juicy because I am waaaayyyy too old to wear it, but I would wear these.

And that's the word from Mrs. Robinson.

My last bag from Kate Spade was purchased back in the late 1990's.

Since then her practical-chic has bored me. What else can I say?

I saw this in my daily email from wearit.com and it caught my eye. This summer has been all about blue-white and red-white nautical combinations.

This would be awesome with a lovely red and white striped Mariemekko tee, cropped denim and preppy topsiders.

I have been in love with thise bracelet ever since it was first recommended.

It is terribly unusual and I find myself continually checking that it is still available for when I have some extra cash to splurge on something fun and funky.

Bonus? It acts as a talisman to ward off the evil. And who couldnt use that? :)

This one didn't inspire full-on lust, but it gets honorable mention for causing a slight mini-crush.

The handle makes me think it needs a lucy-esque dirndle skirt with crinoline plus white wrist gloves.

Or maybe a pencil skirt with same gloves a la Grace Kelly.

Either way, here it is for your viewing pleasure.

I try so hard to make sure I only buy grown-up clothing and accessories.

But sometimes the call for kitch is way too strong.

If anyone looked at my weblogs, they'd see visits to fredflare.com at least once a week. Also kidrobot, mimoco, and ningyoushi.

This is sooo cute, but for me it would only potentially get worn one time per week - on a weekend. So not such a good use for my limited fashion dollars.

However, if you are a young, fun heiress or you look like Katy Perry - this is a must buy for you.

Simply Vera Vera Wang Cloud Tee

The picture doesn't do this top much justice. its actually a little more colorful, blue and gray.

I don't often get to large department stores becuase I live in NYC, but I happened to be driving around the suburbs of New Jersey this weekend and decided to stop at a Kohl's.

I have often read about Vera Wang's Simply Vera collection, but this was the first time I have actually seen it in person.

I was impressed. Elegantly designed, well-executed quality pieces at an afforable price. All the details we considered, even the hang-tags were nice.

I bought this cloud tee because it was a tolerable execution of tie-dye (which I think will be big this season). And the hand of the fabric was very nice (i.e. the weight and feel of the fabric).

I bought some other pieces as well. TBR. To be recommended.

Warning to Kohl's, I will be back. That's a threat.
