Have any interest in the swinging 60s? Them meet its fashion queen, Mary Quant.

She was famous for designing some of the most recognizable looks of the 60s, like the mini-dress. And much like Chanel, she was doubly famous because she wore the styles herself, and looked pretty darn fabulous.

This is one of my favorite decades for fashion and love all its icons. Edie Sedgewick, Penelope Tree, Twiggy.

This book is long out of print and copies are hard to come by and are often very dear. This one from ebay and over 100 quid!

You will have to save your pennies, my mod friends.

Long Knit Gloves from Emilio Pucci

I once had some tan and maroon chevron print gloves from Banana Republic that my husband bought for me.

I loved them dearly, but lost them in a NYC cab.

These gloves from Pucci are almost as good, but cost way more than the $40 some odd dollars that were spent on my version from BR.

Sure wish I had those gloves back.....
