The Honeycomb Vase
First to recommend
Description
It took 40,000 bees and 1 week to make a single vase.
Don't even try to act like this isn't one of the coolest things you've seen all year!
I love the simple, imperfect design and the theme of letting nature
serve as something very human-made. (via Inhabitat)

Wow! I think my life became just a little more complete by checking this website out. It is so gorgeous.
I love the topographical influence in this sink.
Website reads:
No plastics, no chemical finishes, no heavy-metal pigments.
Reclaimed and non-toxic materials. Pieces infused with nature’s patterns and idiosyncrasies.
Design that recognizes that nature is the canvas and the palette, not just the easel.

Description
I'm not sure about you, but I am constantly watering parts of my garden here in Ohio. This attaches to your gutter, then you attach a hose to it. For those that don't have a rain barrel or those that do - use on a part of the house where there isn't one. They say 1" of water gives you 1,000 gallons of water. Conservation and saving money at its best. (via The Alternative Consumer)

Hand Powered Portable Washing Machine

Description
How cool is this? This would be great on a long camping trip or for small, small loads (since we should always use the washer with a full load, right?). But be sure to use environmentally friendly detergent!
It is made of plastic though :(
but what a saving of water, electricity and detergent.

Tableware - Natural Fiberware - Green Party Goods

Description
I think I would buy this stuff just to see it compost and put it in the oven! Who would have thought "disposable" would be good?
Is freezer and microwave-safe, and unbelievably, the claim it can go into a 400 degree oven for 30 minutes!
It also decomposes in a lake or river for 14 days, then which, the fibers can be eaten by the fish!! (decomposes in compost in 2 days and in the landfill in 90 days - how do they know this?)

Zanisa: Wine Arc

Description
If you've ever seen one of these in person, the first thought is, "How the heck is that working?" I love, love, love the simplicity of the bamboo and how it showcases, in wonderment, the beautiful glass. Who needs a boring wine bottle just sitting on a counter? Make it fun, artful and curious.

Zanisa: Quill Graphite

Description
As someone who has drawn with graphite, this amazes me. Artist, Angelio Batle has created an all-graphite sculpture, yet...it still writes like a pencil! Beautiful! Plus it doesn't smudge in your hands.

Greenware Compostable Cups, 16 oz., 50/Pack at Staples
First to recommend
Description
Look what is at Staples!!! Made in the USA from renewable corn (though not organic - it's a step in the right direction). They are only $7.49 for a 50 pack, so if you buy these for a gathering or work, please advertise that they are compostable and easily found around town!
For COLD beverages, since they will start to melt with heat!
Ok, so these are not in the mid-Ohio Staples, so be sure to call and check! (via Ideal Bite)
