I cannot do this man's work justice on this little post, so if you have the time, check out the in depth post on his work on my blog, If It's Hip, It's Here.

In the meantime, let me tell you this man can recreate any style (modern, victorian, craftsman) of room in miniature, down to working lights and hand-crafted furniture.

He's created rooms from books and movies, people's personal homes and more. And yes, he sells them, but they cost BIG money for MINI items!

BRICKADOO - Build your own city!

At approximately $206 USD it's less costly than the Villa Sibi and almost as nice. They make cool modern clean birch furniture for it too!

This model of a very mid-century modern house is made of basswood and can be painted, stained or displayed as is. Could be used as a modern doll house or as inspiration as you conjure up your dream house.

Base dimensions: 14.5" x 11.25"
Overall height: 21.75"

It'll run you $295., but that's a lot cheaper than the full sized version!

Wow. Now there is International Style on a smaller scale, the Villa Savoye (left) & Guiette House (Right) are loosely based on Le Corbusiers most famous designs. Made of unfinished basswood & more affordable than the originals, by a couple million dollars

This is the dollhouse that started it all. manufactured by Bozart, you can't find this anywhere anymore except for those selling it on ebay. A beautiful architectural dolhouse model, this was designed by PMW architects and made for children, but the price was made for grown-ups!

Consider yourself lucky if you can find it! As a bonus, Bozarrt made wonderful odern miniatures to go inside of it! I wish I'd bought it long ago. (via pmwarchitects.com)

This is such a stunning architectural dollhouse, I'd actually buy it --and I don't have kids!. Based on the work by Arts & Crafts era architect and designer, Rene Mackintosh, it's beautifully rendered with correct proportions. I'd just put it up on a mantel.
