The Horizon Cat

Description
I love sailing, being on the water with the wind it's ever so perfect and fun. One day I'd like to buy a boat, and if I happen to live near a marina I'd kind of like it to be this one. I am not (by any stretch of the imagination) a good sailor) in fact I'm what they call a rank beginner. None the less I love the look of this boat. It's so traditional and cute.

Sadly, I've never lived on a coast or near a marina. Thus, when I go sailing it's always because I've driven somewhere (usually a lake). Because of that a sailboat that could be hauled would be very advantageous. Problem is I'm picky and I don't like most boats that can be hauled. This boat, though, I have no problem with. It's a beachable, haulable boat that can actually fit quite a lot.

Then again, some days I think a boat like this would be fine, yes it's not as pretty, solid or large as the others I like. But it's good for beginners (me!) and is smaller (also good for me!). And it would be fine on a lake (which considering my land locked status is where I usually am).

I'll probably never be a performance sailor. That's not why I go out. And since for me sailing is about being out, being comfortable and being with family and friends a boat like this could be just the thing. It's mast can be raised by one person (which means it can't be all that hard!) and it has room lots of people and stuff.

Oh, my. When I saw this I had to giggle. It's so adorable! It's a good accessory for your favorite best friend and it's monogrammed which will make all the other puppies (or at least their owners) jealous. Most importantly though, it helps keep your favorite little puppy safe

ASTRAL BUOYANCY Men's Norge Life Vest '07

Description
Never let it be said that I do not believe in buoyancy. In fact, no one goes out on the water unless everyone I'm with is jacket clad (fine, I could be a little bit of a worry wort). And this life vest is supposed to be extra comfy which is a definite plus when you are spending all day on the water.

One thing I've noticed when sailing is that it's good to be quick on your feet and it's good to be able to be flexible. Being inhibited by your life vest isn't just uncomfortable it's dangerous. This life vest is build with unrestricted movement in mind.

Did you honestly think I wouldn't look for a pink life vest? Ha! This super bright pink life vest is not only, well, bright, but safe. It's a Type III personal flotation device. Three cheers for safety and one of my favorite colors coming together.

Men's Sperry Original Boat Shoes

Description
Boat shoes are sexy and manly. They say "yacht owner" without having to shell out the cash for a yacht. They come in a lot of colors so any man can find a way to coordinate them into his wardrobe. They look great and prevent slipping, in case you ever do buy that yacht you've been drooling over.

Ballerina Boat Shoes

Description
On the other hand, when it comes to a woman's boat shoe I like an old fashioned influence modernized. Like these ballet flat boat shoes. All the function of a boat shoe but the slimming look of a ballet flat. Plus aren't those leather bows adorable?
