Then again, something more casual might be called for depending on what you are wearing. I like these shoes because I can definitely see them transition from boat to dinner easily. Plus they just look all soft and relaxed.

Every boat needs a captain. And every captain needs a hat. I like this hat because unlike some of the other captain's hats out there it's not covered in gold embroidery (ew) and it looks comfortable and also functional (no sun for me!).

I would get this shirt if it was just a shirt. With it's tiny little red stripes and three quarters sleeves it's absolutely adorable. Plus, this shirt has UV protection in it! which is wonderful if you think about all those rays bouncing about when you are one the water.

My grandmother used to have a scarf like this, I don't know what happened to it when she died, but I wish I could find it. It's a good traditional pattern with a heavy nautical theme. It's the perfect scarf for being on the water or for when you wish you were.
