DIY Hair - from cut to color - a list by VaFashionista

About this list:

I am the queen of DIY beauty as far as doing my own hair. I hate going to overpriced salons to have them f up my hair! None of them know how to do it right, so I taught myself, in highschool, how to dye, fry, blowdry, perm/relax, cut, trim and higlight my own hair! The results, fabulous! This is a list of items you need to do your hair at home

Revlon 1,875-watt Ion Dryer - Pink

3 people recommended this item

Description

I told you I LOVED Revlon styling products! Not only are they affordable, but they keep up with the hair trends without you having to break the bank! This dryer has:
• 3 heats and speeds for complete drying and styling flexibility
• Cold Shot button releases cool air for setting the style
• Concentrator attachment for precise drying and styling
• Removable end cap for easy cleaning
The cold shot button is great! And the pink, I loves! A DIY Hair diva must own a blow dryer and know how to use it!

Snag-Free Rubberbands

First to recommend

Description

I love these tiny ouch-less rubber bands! I pick up a pack every other month lol because I lose them so easily! I use these to throw my hair up in a ponytail when I go to the gym or if I'm around the house cleaning. Be warned, if you have thicker hair, these will not hold all of your hair into one ponytail.

Description

I keep tons of hair clips, all sizes, around my home...in my car, purse, clutch lol! I must have a hair clip in case i want to put my hair up. I like smaller ones, 1/2 inch to smaller to hold my hair.

If you choose not to sleep with a silk or satin head scarf on then you MUST have a silk or satin pillow case! 'Satin pillowcases are the most crucial "healthy hair" items you should have. Sleeping on satin without the pulling and discomfort of regular cotton sheets and pillowcases is a dream come true" Invest in a few of these to keep your hair at ultimate health and shine!

2007 Ford Warriors in Pink Scarf

Description

Each year when the Susan G Komen breast cancer silk scarves come out I buy them! I have been doing this for 7 years and have acquired quite a colelction! Not only are these scarves benefitting and donating to breast cancer research, but they are made of 100% silk. I wear these as my head scarves to wrap my hair at night. I love the designer series and I love that it is donating to the Susan G Komen fund. So do your hair some justice and donate for a good cause!
