notNeutral Count Toddler T-Shirt

First to recommend

Description

This Count tee shirt from notNeutral cleverly blends a kid's interest in numbers with a parent's concern for exposing a child to design. A nice introduction to typeface comes through in this 100% cotton tee, available in sizes for toddlers of all ages.

P'kolino Book Buggee

First to recommend

2 people recommended this item

Description

A small child's appreciation of books often presents itself in as much of an interest in playing as reading. Essentially a bookshelf on wheels, this Book Buggee is a great way to enhance the experience and keep them interacting with books, which will eventually turn into a familiarity with books and a love for reading.

Lola Gorilla Chalkal

First to recommend

Description

Most people would rather never have to deal with an oversized gorilla running at their child, but this guy seems harmless. He's also made out of adhesive chalkboard vinyl, which means that children can draw on him in chalk and then wipe it away to start over again.

Little Marc Jacobs Carlotta Dress

First to recommend

Description

It's hard to describe to someone who doesn't have a kid how much guilty pleasure there can be in walking into a room in which your child is dressed better than adults she speaks with. It doesn't often happen, as even nice kids clothes are in a bit of a different league than stylish apparel for adults, but this Carlotta dress from Little Marc evens the playing field.

Edd Red Head

First to recommend

Description

A plush doll that doubles as a pillow, Edd Red Head has an abnormally large head that has supposedly (says the product copy) to do with how smart he is. I'm just seeing a big red afro. Made from knitted lambswool with polyester stuffing, the piece, designed by Donna Wilson, is made more for show than for durability, but that counts too.

Description

A really fun excuse to let your kids write on their walls, this Paint-by-Numbers Wall Strip from Jenny Wilkinson looks pretty cool on its own, and maybe even better when customized. The thin strip measures six inches in height and 15 feet in length.
