Fully Automatic, Mixed by Ak1200

Description

Fully Automatic brings the hard and the harder to the scene, with tracks like 'Free' and 'Nyquest'; heavily distorted tracks with deep bass lines. Great mix by one of the greatest in the scene, this is the album that pushed the track 'Drowning' by Cleveland Lounge to the dnb mainstream.

Description

Hard baselines and raw sounds mixed by the Dieselboy himself. The first CD illustrate most of the tracks of Dieselboy's label, while the second CD is a collection of VIP remixes and other anthems only Dieselboy would have access too.

A great mix from DJ Dara, one of the best known drum n bass DJ's out there. Tracks to highlight are 'Dusk Til Dawn', 'Gonzo', 'Heatwave' and the anthem 'Outer Space' that was an anthem the first time the needle hit wax on this track.

This two CD compilation by the legendary Andy C and Grooverider brings tracks by Dillinja, G-Dub, Origin Unknown and Commix just to name a few. Each CD has over 20 tracks mixed by the masters and, well; just buy it and see what I'm talking about.

Timeless: Goldie: Music

Description

The most recognizable name and face in the Jungle scene(before the moniker dnb was used), Goldie, brings the epic track 'Inner City life'. This was the song that demonstrated drum n bass to be just as valid of a musical art form as any other genre, as it brought a great vocalist and production that was unheard of in at the time.

Modus Operandi was on of the first successful albums to mix such a wide range of musical styles with drum n bass, from ambient sounds to jazz to techno rhythms. 'Modus Operandi' and 'The Fifth Column' are on my must hear several times before you die list.
